MORE IN LUV / 7:30-8:10
KING VIOLET / 8:30-9:10
THE JUICE 9:30-10:15
The Juice:
Juice is five northern lads, dishing out scally rock with a sweet pop sheen. Backed by BBC Introducing Lancashire, after landing a slot performing on BBC 5 live on Scott Mills’ & Chris Stark’s Saturday morning show the lads have gone from strength to strength. This success has resulted in playing the Isle of Wight festival last summer and a UK tour this autumn with This Feeling.
Although initially inspired by the many great bands of North West England, the lads are finding their own space with the influences each member brings to the table.
Their first release as a band, ‘Tell Me Tina’, landed BBC airplay, as well support from Amazing Radio and countless other grassroots stations. With their latest release ‘Rip It Up’ turning heads, and with countless sold out gigs from word of mouth alone, you’d be a fool to sleep on The Juice.
King Violet:
King Violet have an undeniable and infectious energy surrounding them. They have been spotted at many of the UK’s hottest indie gigs and festivals including Dot to Dot Festival, Stockton Calling, and supporting bands such as Honeyglaze, The Pale White, Brand New Legs and Ghost Car.
Recent headline Manchester gigs have generated a buzz: their sold out show at Night and Day Cafe was featured on MCR Wire ‘Manchester gigs of the week’ and was promoted on The Manc Audio main Instagram feed. More recently, their show at Gullivers was included on The Manc’s ‘Best Bands Playing in January’ list alongside The 1975, Lewis Capaldi, Circa Waves and Editors.
More In Luv:
More in Luv are a four piece indie pop band from Merseyside. From shuffle drum beats to mega synth bass drops, it’s hard to pinpoint one particular style for the band.
Since the band formed during the height of covid and sold out their debut 250 capacity gig in July 2021, they’ve supported notable artists such as Mollie Coddled, Deco, Blondes, and Black Foxxes.
You do not want to miss this artist live: they bring energy, riffs, and scouse hospitality to the stage, whether they’re playing to audiences of 20 or 2000.
More in Luv are an ideal discovery for fans of The Lottery Winners, Joan, Bad Suns, Priestgate, and Lauv. The buzz around More in Luv is proving to be infectious with their fanbase rapidly growing; don’t sleep on the next great band on the incredible Scouse production line.
